Two-Phase Flow Modeling
We have developed two-phase modeling capability using Eulerian-Eulerian multi-phase model and DEM model for gas-solid dense phase flow. This modeling approach is unsteady-state and is much time consuming when compared to diluted gas-solid flow.

Our two-phase model has been applied to the following processes:
-
Circulating Fluid Bed combustion, incorporated with heat transfer and multiple gas-solid reactions
-
Dense phase solid conveying systems of material pneumatic conveying industry
-
Aeration system design of a full-scale silo
-
Material calcining in a rotating kiln
